We value transparency

We use secure cloud-based software like Xero and encrypted document-sharing platforms to manage your bookkeeping, payroll, and compliance tasks from anywhere in Australia. All meetings and check-ins are done via phone, Zoom, or email — making it easy and flexible for you.

Not at all! While we’re based in Maudsland, Gold Coast, we service clients Australia-wide. Our remote-first approach means you get the same level of care and expertise no matter your location.

We work with a wide range of industries, including tradies, creatives, consultants, online businesses, retail, and service-based businesses. If you run a small to medium business, chances are we can help.

Absolutely. We offer full Xero setup and training for new users, including system configuration, chart of accounts, payroll setup, and bank feed integration. We also provide ongoing Xero support and troubleshooting.

Our payroll service includes:

✔ Setup of employees in Xero

✔ Processing pay runs

✔ Superannuation calculations

✔ Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting

✔ Employee leave tracking

✔ End-of-year summaries

Yes. We stay up to date with ATO, Fair Work, and BAS agent compliance requirements to ensure your business remains fully compliant and audit-ready.

Getting started is easy! Simply contact us for a free initial consultation, and we’ll assess your needs, recommend a service plan, and get you set up with minimal disruption.

Using a Registered BAS Agent means:

✔ You get accurate, compliant BAS lodgements

✔ You reduce the risk of penalties or errors

✔ You can access extended ATO lodgement deadlines

✔ You get expert guidance on GST, PAYG, and reporting obligations

✔ You free up your time to focus on running your business

You can check a BAS Agent’s registration by visiting the Tax Practitioners Board Register.

Clevar Consulting is fully registered and meets all professional, ethical, and insurance requirements. BAS Agent number is 25893716.

You’re not legally required to use a BAS Agent, but if someone is charging a fee to prepare or lodge your BAS, they must be registered with the TPB. Using a non-registered bookkeeper for BAS services could result in fines or compliance issues with the ATO.

That’s great! We regularly work alongside your accountant to handle the day-to-day bookkeeping and BAS, freeing them up for tax strategy and year-end returns. It’s a team effort — and everyone benefits.
